The Kamloops Makerspace is a 100% volunteer-run community workshop. There are no paid staff. Every member helps contribute to making our space operational and awesome. Our membership consists of makers and hackers who love the space so much they put in the work to make sure it is sustainable and available for everyone to enjoy. We exist because of do-ocratic principles which in short means - if you want something done, do it! We want everyone to be able to participate, use, and love the space as much as we do. But you have to remember one thing - Be Excellent.
Be Excellent to each other, the physical space, the tools, and our community. Come and join in the fun!

Kamloops Makerspace is also more than a physical space; it's a community with roots in hackerspaces extending around the world. This Wiki is your source for everything that makes our space tick. We are attempting to document our culture, systems, tools, and more. You can learn how contribute to this Wiki Here
